Located only three kilometers from the downtown core, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is a short 12-minute bike ride along the scenic Martin Goodman Trail, making biking a popular choice of transportation among passengers. There are sheltered open air bike racks and a bicycle maintenance station located on the island side of the airport which passengers can access by taking their bike across on the ferry or walking their bike through the pedestrian tunnel.

The bicycle maintenance station offers a full complement of commonly required tools and two bike hangers that are able to accommodate any style of bicycle.

Bicycle Parking

There is standard, open-air bike lockup available at the airport. Sheltered bike lockup is available on the island-side ferry terminal at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

Please note that the bicycle parking at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is not monitored and bicycles are left at the owners own risk. The airport closes nightly from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and there is no overnight access to the island-side ferry terminal where the bike parking is located.

E-Bikes and E-Scooters

Due to safety concerns, battery powered personal transportation such as E-bikes & E-Scooters are prohibited in elevators and in the pedestrian tunnel at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

Passengers and/or staff with e-bikes, e-scooters and any other type of lithium-ion battery powered mode of personal transportation are asked to access the island terminal by ferry only
