Marilyn Bell I Ferry to Undergo Necessary Surface Protection Work Beginning July 1

07/07/2022

Toronto (July 7, 2022) – Please be advised that the Marilyn Bell I ferry will be removed from service for approximately three weeks beginning Monday, July 11 in order to complete necessary surface protection work, which will include exterior surface painting and a refreshed car deck.

This work was deferred to summer 2022 back in November 2021 due to below-zero temperatures and high winds that would have prevented the exterior paint from properly curing.

It is anticipated that the Marilyn Bell I will return to service in early August once this work is completed. Ferry service to and from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport will be maintained throughout by the David Hornell ferry.
